The Laurentian Regional Ministry is a grouping of Christian churches who are located in the North-Western reaches of the Anglican Diocese of Montreal.
What is the Laurentian Regional Ministry?
The Laurentian Regional Ministry (LRM) is a community of Christians in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition seeking to follow the leading of God in the Laurentian region of Quebec, Canada. Our churches lie in the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Huron-Wendat, Algonquin, St. Lawrence Iroquoians & Mohawk. Although our ten churches have played a historic role in the area for over a century, we came together as a regional body in July 2015.
We have been called together in order to offer a stronger witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ in our region. We strive to offer a voice of inclusive welcome to everyone we meet, and a voice of prophetic challenge to ourselves and to the world around us. We offer one another solidarity and mutual support believing that we are stronger together.
