About Us
St. Aidan’s, Louisa is a small country church in the Municipality of Wentworth in the foothills of the Laurentians. It is one of the four (4) churches in the Parish of the Lower Laurentians within the Laurentian Regional Ministry in the Diocese of Montreal. Gospel music (guitar and banjo) and traditional organ music is enjoyed by our congregation throughout the year. The congregation is made up of permanent residents with seasonal residents attending throughout the summer months. Our average attendance is from 15 - 20 people with our largest attendance being at Christmas and Easter services.
Where is God Working in Our Community?
God is at work in our community as we host a well-attended Bible study series at least twice each year which gives us an opportunity to study the Bible and share the fellowship of a meal together. Because of our close ties to our Municipality our Hall is a source of gatherings of all kinds that bring the community within our walls.
What is one thing we would like to share with the world around us?
One thing that we would like to share: As our congregation is small, in number, we have created a family of sorts. We are warm & friendly to all who attend and extend our friendship and welcome all into our St. Aidan’s family.
