Morin Heights (Parish of St Sauveur & Morin Heights)
Morin Heights is a rural community, which we enjoy being part of. Our church is located at the very centre on Rue Village, surrounded by a cemetery that is home to the long history of this area. We like most churches face the reality of an aging congregation, but actively welcome visitors and newcomers.
Where is God Working in Our Community?
Still active after more than 150 years, in addition to regular services we are active in community outreach. We started a School breakfast program for our local elementary school, which involves non churchgoers as well churchgoers. We take our events such as our Strawberry social to the community on Canada day.
What is one thing we would like to share with the world around us?
We like to think that we are welcoming, but acknowledge that entering a new church as a stranger, as a visitor or newcomer is a big step. We hope you will take the time or the risk to join us and get to know us as a family.
